Do you have a story about your hero, a background, insite into how they became who they are? Why not share it with us?

I only have sort of vague ideas in my head of what/who they are.
Force Knight is, like... part of an ancient and superpowered line of people who guarded an old Lemurian Temple or something. And his first nemesis was a guy who betrayed them and went all darknessey.
Dozer is an alien gladiator-type guy, possibly he followed Ironclad from Malva. I dunno, I've never seen his face!
Bennu is sort of combining the ideas of the Western Phoenix myth with its equivalent in Egypt, (which is Bennu). The embodiment of fire thing from the west, the healing/life orientation from Egypt, and the rebirth concept from both. In some neat tights.
Super Tesla is just... y'know... Nikola Tesla. Only in a supersuit. With lightning bolts.
Hashashim is just the typical mysterious (and vaguely mystical) assassin. No background because I don't know the background, he's just that mysterious!
And I can't really remember the rest of my characters, I have too many.

Let's see, I have really basic backgrounds for most of my characters, and bio's written within CO's tiny limit for a few as well. Scatha: "Scatha belongs to a coven of magic users that channel their power from ancient Celtic deities. Her namesake was a warrior goddess, and Scatha uses that power and her natural athleticism to create a unique and deadly fighting style. A master marksman, she utilizes a special pair of pistols that fire magic energy that is far more potent than any bullet. As destructive as the original goddess, Scatha easily handles any would be villains that cross her path" www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/33464/viewAnother heroine of mine, Korrigan, belongs to the same coven as Scatha and is her biological sister. While Scatha utilizes her abilities in unconventional ways, Korrigan is a much more straightforward mage. Many of the more traditional magic techniques that Scatha has used during her career, such as circles, teleportation, and healing, were taught to her by Korrigan. www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/679287/viewDendrite: "Michael Manor was once an ordinary archaeologist before a miserable fate befouled him. On a dig at what he thought was a Gaelic burial mound, he encountered the tomb of a vampiric beast. In exchange for his life, Michael agreed to become a host to the beast, Dendrite. He can now change into a creature with incredible speed, strength, ferocity, and an unholy thirst. Michael cannot permanently hide what he now holds, and as such he works to keep the world safe from villains and himself alike." www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/65945/viewYellow Jacket: "Feeling lonely, Blue Wasp decided to create a robot buddy for casual conversation and board game playing. While he was installing various AI routines downloaded from the Internet, the robot became sentient and Yellow Jacket was born! No one knows how he can create telekinetic weaponry, but Yellow Jacket thinks its perfectly logical for a humanoid wasp robot to sting things with a nonexistent brain. With his sentience derived from the Internet, its not surprising that he lacks rational thought." www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/1062634/viewMs. Fallout's origin is tied to her first and main nemesis, Chernobyl (The guy in my icon). Chernobyl is a radioactive villain who causes nuclear reactors to meltdown, and then absorbs the radiation to increase his power. Ms. Fallout was an intern at a plant targeted by him and managed to survive the encounter but was given powers herself by the exposure. www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/1507154/viewComrade Red is a third-generation super-hero. Her grandfather was the first to bear the name, and was a prominent Soviet hero with energy manipulation abilities during World War II and for long after. During the 80s, he grew tired of the ways of the Soviet Union and fled with his wife, son, and his sidekick, Tunguska. Around this time, he finally retired from the hero business and his son, who inherited his father's powers, took up the name. At this time, the current Comrade Red was born in America. As she grew, she has only exhibited minor energy manipulation abilities, such as shields when she maintains her full concentration on them, and the ability to charge objects. Still wishing to follow in the family tradition, she honed her athletic abilities and took to mastering archery. When her father, the second Comrade Red, eventually died in battle she took up the name and legacy. www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/64258/viewTunguska, as mentioned in Comrade Red's description, was once the sidekick to the original. At a young age, he displayed energy manipulation and projection abilities and was taken into the care of the government to be trained as a state super-hero. Do to the similarities of their powers, he was placed under the care and study of the first Comrade Red. He fled the Soviet Union with Comrade Red and his family, and shortly after became a full-fledged hero in his own right. His name is taken from the Tunguska Event, a mysterious explosion that occurred over over Siberia in 1908. He was my main character in City of Heroes. The Comrade Red/Tunguska lore is my most developed by far because of this. www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/92703/viewSerra Angelus is a homage to the Magic: The Gathering card, Serra Angel. I don't really have much of an actual in-game story devised for her. Her main nemesis is another Magic homage, The Phyrexian. www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/97365/viewCoulomb is an electricity user that I really haven't come up with any background at all for. www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/978529/viewRising Sun is a second generation Japanese-American. Blessed with a genius IQ, and her father's large collection of anime and super-sentai shows, she created multiple suits of power armor and set out to become a hero in the vein of her television idols. www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/93150/view

This is my Main's background.
As a young child I was never very outgoing so when Rexsun moved into my area and asked if we could hang out, I was ecstatic. We both idolized superheroes, and spent all our spare time pretending to be the heroes saving the world. We instantly became best friends and did everything together. We eventually created a tree house in the forest that we used as out secret headquarters.
I remember the forest being the most beautiful place to be, full of live and color with the calming sound of a stream babbling off in the distance. The tree we made our club in had these unusual leaves that would almost glow at times. Unknown to us the tree that held our hideout was full of mystical forces within the leaves. When these leaves get wet they would glow a brilliant green and turn raindrops into orbs of energy that we absorbed overtime. But everything that glowed couldn’t be seen by the human eye, only after I received powers could I see it.
It was on my 10th birthday when my eyes turned bright green, and after that Energy powers started to generate within me very quickly. Over the next few years I began to practice controlling my powers and training myself to get stronger. Yet it seemed that there was no sign of any type of power or ability forming within Rexsun. He was becoming upset by his lack of progression and was filled with anger and jealousy. Slowly he began to avoid and eventually distance himself from me.
When I found out about the Paragon Rikti invasion I knew I needed to lend my assistance. Regardless of what I said, Rexsun wasn’t able to join me without any powers, and was forced to stay out of the city. After the invasion when I tried to contact him, I had no luck. I was told Rexsun had disappeared to go find any way to gain powers, powers stronger than mine.
Now after 6 years in paragon I had finally gotten word that Rexsun had been spotted in Millennium City. He was my best friend and I just wish to see him again. Unfortunately as fate would have it my search would have to wait as the Qularr began their attack on the city.

I'll write about my first ever created character in CO, since it seems the authentication server is once again down Eliza was once blind, but now can see. During her youth, while at one of her father's archaelogical digs, Eliza accidentally stumbled upon an artifact of an ancient culture. Unfortunately, her discovery was that of a hidden temple whose weakened roof she had stepped on. The roof crumbled and Eliza fell into burial site, crashing headlong among rough, stony platforms and sharp rocks. The injury she received during the fall utterly destroyed her right eye in the process, and complications with dust and scarring on her left eye gave her very limited sight. In order to cope with the extent of the injury, Eliza went under the care of a full time nurse. Eliza fondly remembers her guardian and grew very close to her, often referring to her nurse as her angel of inspiration. Through the many long months of rehabilitation, Eliza's nanny told her many stories of old Detroit, old superheroes, and the adventures of promising ones such as Witchcraft, Defender, and Ironclad. Eliza became inspired, and without her normal vision, she began to utilise her imagination, further strengthening her desire to become a superhero. Unknown to Eliza, the accident had also brought upon a boon. For what lay in the ruins she stumbled on was old lore regarding a great mystical eye of El-Ziera whose sight saw all. Blaming himself for Eliza's accident, her father sought this artifact in the hopes of helping Eliza. After years of frantic searching and at great personal cost, Eliza's father managed to find the mystical eye. Against his scientific nature and responsibilities of his profession, Eliza's father sacrificed fame and great recognition, keeping his discovery a secret in order to bring El-Ziera's eye home to Eliza. Using the aid of ancient scrolls and forbidden healing techniques, he replaced Eliza's damaged eye with the eye of El-Ziera. The result of the dark operation was beyond belief, and Eliza's sight was not only restored, but it allowed her to tap into the power of the eye and gave birth to her terrifying electric powers! Eliza, while thankful to her father for restoring her sight, could think of nothing else but to use her newfound powers to follow the footsteps of her favourite superheroes. With thoughts of heroic deeds filling her young head, and against the wishes of her father, she ventured out to Millenium City to aid in the fight against evil. Over time, Eliza managed to slowly control the mystical spark of the eye and brought many criminals to justice. However, a dark question still remains: Does Eliza control the power of the eye of El-Ziera, or does the power of the eye control her? *edited for spelling errors, etc.
