If you like rainbows, you can make your powers into them! Yeah, I found this on the forums and made Captain Sparkly Spanglepants just to take advantage of this. It'll basically change the colors of all your powers every time you use one of them. It takes a little while to set up though.
First thing you'll need to do is make a bunch of text files in the Cryptic Studios\Champions Online\Live\ directory. For ease of use, lets say we're calling them Spanglepants_01.txt through Spanglepants_07.txt (you can call them whatever you want though).
Inside each of these files you're going to paste this:
1 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 0$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
2 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 1$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
3 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 2$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
4 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 3$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
5 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 4$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
6 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 5$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
7 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 6$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
Now you have to change a few things. First: Each and every instance of the filename (in this case Spanglepants_02.txt) has to point to the right file. In my example, Spanglepants_01.txt has to point to Spanglepants_02.txt, and 2 has to point to 3, and so on. Then the last one has to point back to 1, so it makes a loop.
Next, choose the hues you want. Each one of the files will point to a different hue. To choose your hues, use this little graph: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hue and just get the number you like (so a 75 would be a sort of greenish yellow). That number you are now going to replace the second zero with on each line, so this:
1 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 0$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
Would become this:
1 "powerhue 0 75$$+PowerTrayExec 0$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
Do that in each line of each file, choosing different colors for each file. Then, the last thing you have to do, is load up the character you want this effect on, and type this into the chat window:
"/bind_load_file Spanglepants_01.txt" (replacing it with the filename for your file).
And presto!
One warning though, this doesn't work well for anything but click abilities, if it's a maintain or charge it will automatically hold down the full charge/maintain every time if you just tap the key. For maintains you can tap block to stop the maintain early, but for charge you may want to delete the line for whatever slot the ability is in. So since I put ego blast in slot 4, I'll be deleting this line from all my files:
"4 "powerhue 0 0$$+PowerTrayExec 3$$bind_load_file Spanglepants_02.txt"
It changes all your powers' colors every time, so it's not a big deal to just remove it from a few, you'll still get the effect. The only other quirk I've found so far is that occasionally block gets toggled to on. Just tap it and it turns off.
